The House Museum of First Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party is the oldest museum in Minsk. The house in Zakharievskaya Street, where the First Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party was held in 1898, became a museum in 1923.
From 1991 to 1992 the museum was closed. In 2007 the museum was closed for major repair, after which it opened its doors with the new exposition and the exhibition hall.
The House Museum is included in the The State Register of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus as a historical monument.
